Passivhaus is the leading international low-energy and comfort standard for buildings, which has been successfully delivered on every continent since its inception in 1990.
MEAD is one of only a small group of organisations that are able to offer Passivhaus Certification globally. As well as certifying over 100 buildings throughout the UK we have certified buildings in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and the US.
Building Design
If you’re designing a home for a client or as a self-build project we are able to provide pre-planning design advice and recommendations on specifications and performance improvements.
Consultancy
We are able to imbed our services into the design team to support all aspects of the design and specification, from built-fabric to how the building is serviced, including:

BREEAM Assessments
BREEAM is arguably the leading sustainability assessment methodology and can be applied to whole Communities, New Construction and Refurbishment as well as buildings In-Use. MEAD are able to provide pre-assessments and full BREEAM assessment services.
